Qui suis-je ?? Who I am ??

Bonjour à tous,

Merci de votre visite sur ce blog. Je m'appelle Xavier, j'habites dans les Alpes à la frontière Franco-Italienne, dans un petit village à 1000 mètres d'altitude. Etant Franco-Canadien, cette année je dois retourner m'installer au Québec VE2, mais je redescendrai vivre 4 mois par an en France, donc F4GBO restera valide..

J'ai plusieurs passions :

La Radio que je pratique depuis 1989 (mais radio amateur seulement depuis 2009), tous les sports mécaniques (je conduits tout ce qui roule). Routier de metier, j'ai plus de 6 000 000 de km à mon actif à travers toute l'europe, les Pays de l'Est, 48 états des USA et tout le Canada. Aujourd'hui, j'ai arrété la route pour rentrer un peu au QRA. Je pratique également le 4x4 (ma plus grande passion) sur les pistes des Alpes et en Hard, et le trial en moto.

Je suis marié, j'ai 3 enfants qui sont grands maintenant et ils vivent au Québec.

Pour la radio, j'ai un Kenwood TS440S que j'ai acheté en 1989, un Yeasu FT1000 MP, et un Kenwood TS50 qui est dans le 4x4. Pour l'antenne, j'ai une GP7DX by SP7GXP. C'est une verticale Multibande (10 à 40 mètres) de fabrication Om Polonaise. Elle ressemble à une Cuscraft R8, mais en beaucoup plus solide. Cette antenne est très robuste, elle arrive à accepter l'hiver chez moi avec la neige, -15° C la nuit, sans aucun problème. Le ROS est très bon sur toutes les bandes : inférieur à 1.5 (même par temps de pluie et vent). C'est une antenne très robuste, à conseiller. La fabrication n'a rien à voir avec les antennes faites dans le commerce, là on voit que c'est de la bonne fabrication Om.

I have many passions:

Radio I practice since 1989 (but only radio amateur since 2009), all mecanics sports (I brought everything that rolls). Trucker, I have over 6 000 000 km under my belt across Europe, the Eastern countries, 48 U.S. states and across Canada. Today, I stopped the road to go a little at QRA. I also make the 4x4 (my greatest passion) on the slopes of the Alps and Hard, and trial motorbike.

I'm married, I have 3 children who are grown now and they live in Quebec.

For radio, I have a Kenwood TS440S which I bought in 1989, a Yeasu FT1000 MP and a Kenwood TS50, which is in the 4x4. For the antenna, I have a GP7DX by SP7GXP. This antenna is very robust, it has come to accept me in the winter with snow, -15 ° C at night, no problem. The SWR is very good on all bands: less than 1.5 (even in rain and wind).
